Project 365

So, I have starting noticing the spread of this Project 365. I am sure that it has been around for a while, and for some reason I am just noticing it, but none the less, I am interested in it. I have decided to commit myself to this project. I am going to take one photo a day (at least), and along the way I am going to work to improve my artistic eye, use of depth of field, composition, and exposure. I think this will be a great way to practice my skills every day, and this is really important if I want to become the kind of photographer that I look up to every day. It will also be a good way to look back on a year, which is coincidentally my first year of marriage. I think I will look back on this and cherish the photos, while being so very proud of myself for following through with such a commitment.

I am going to the Ponca City Opry tonight to watch my sister perform. It is actually her second time to perform on this stage, but I unfortunately was too busy to attend the last time. I am excited to see it. I plan to take photos if at all possible. So, I hope to be posting some of the photos from this event this weekend. Also, I plan to start Project 365 today. I am going to think about what I want my first photo to be in the group. I hope that I will be able to post every day, as I am also trying to dedicate myself to my online presence, but if not, I will definitely group them together as a week and post them that way. I am so excited!!!
